Love the tension developed between the male-female sexual dynamic, Ruby’s thought processes, and His Lordship’s impending and, I imagine, very distinct views on all of this. You always do so much with so few words, which isn’t easy and is a skill in its own right.

I like to change to a different lead supporting character with each chapter. This chapter His Lordship puts his, erm… foot down. Too late, but there will be consequences for many.
